Insero RADIS – Remote control and monitoring

Description
Specifications

Make your airport operations more efficient with full overview of operative and technical status

The Insero Remote Control and Monitoring System (RCMS), provides more than just an Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS), and unifies all systems in one solution helping air traffic controllers work smarter and increase safety.

Insero RCMS is a cost-effective, configurable system that gives air traffic controllers full overview of all relevant airside ground equipment – independent of equipment manufacturer and ranging from airstrips to multiple runway CAT I/II/III airports and remote towers.

Reduce downtime and increase safety
With modern performance monitoring features, Insero RCMS offers, individual lamp monitoring, real-time error logging and alerts when equipment is down. In that way, you can reduce down-time on equipment and enable air traffic controllers and technical staff to take immediate action when safety issues occur.

The performance and operation of equipment is documented for evaluation and decision making, including detailed data for asset management.

Maintain airfield equipment efficiently
Insero RMCS gives air traffic controllers full and comprehensive control of all equipment on airside area. Regardless of whether for state-of-the-art individual LED lamp solutions and/or legacy lamp solutions.

During all change of settings, the system will monitor all processes and ensure that procedures and requirements to response time are met. Any malfunction will be reported as an error or warning depending on the severity of the malfunction.

Complete overview

All functionalities are controlled, and real-time status is displayed on the geographical map which gives the air traffic controller a complete overview.

  • Touchscreen – provides quick, efficient and accurate handling. Single or multiple control stations can be integrated and adapted to user roles.
  • Integrated status for Airfield Ground Lights, Instru- ment Landing System, NAVAIDS, generators/power, surveillance and e.g. A-SMGCS.
  • Surveillance of aircraft and vehicles is supported via Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) interface and map visualisation.
  • Alarm capabilities and event filtering provides the flexibility to control messages to the airport traffic control tower and maintenance.
  • Controls are conveniently arranged for maximum safety and usability – customisable building blocks for easy adaption to customer needs.

Real time monitoring of airfield equipment

Full situational awareness is obtained across equipment, independent of manufacturer , supporting e.g. state-of-the-art individual LED lamp solutions and/or legacy lamp solutions.

Operation modes evaluation

Processing of health data for the airfield equipment is presented for the air traffic controller and with system recommended mode of operation.

Customised display and design capabilities

The touch-screen interface allows for easy customisation and presentation layout to enhance efficiency and safety at each individual airport and for each user role.

Extensive installation and integration experience

Insero has more than 40 years of experience of developing, integrating and installing Remote Control and Moni- toring Systems in international and regional airports.

Support for operational procedures

Simplified operations with automatic execution of operation sequences e.g. change of runway direction or change of CAT approach.

Event logs, alarms and asset management

Technical staff have access to current and historical asset data on airfield equipment performance to support increase in operational performance

Scales to operational needs

Insero RCMS scales to the needs, ranging from air- strips to multiple runway (CAT I/II/III) airports, whether for civil or military airports, or remote towers.

Maximum availability

With proven reliability, redundant servers and fault tolerant systems, Insero RCMS provides maximum availability.
