Insight Series alarm resolution systems offer advancements in threat detection for airport security checkpoints. The series features two variants: the Insight BLS identifies hazards in nonmetallic containers, and the Insight300M (an upgrade to the Insight200M) identifies threat materials in both metallic and nonmetallic containers. Both systems use spatially offset Raman spectroscopy (SORS) technology that identifies chemicals through opaque barriers. This capability provides noninvasive chemical identification, reducing risk to an operator and enabling threat escalation when necessary. The combination of SORS technology and proprietary algorithms delivers detection performance. Insight systems achieve high detection rates with low false alarms, offering identification of liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs). Designed to meet regulatory standards such as ECAC Standard 3 Type A and B and the TSA BLS Standard, Insight technology aligns with emerging TAG and Bulk Resolution Technology (BRT) standards, ensuring readiness for the detection of solid materials as standards evolve.
