Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport is an international airport serving the city of Bologna in Italy. It is approximately 6 km northwest of the city centre in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The airport is named after Bologna native Guglielmo Marconi, an Italian electrical engineer and Nobel laureate.

Aeroporto Marconi di Bologna Spa is the airport management company of Bologna airport, now the eighth biggest Italian airport by passenger numbers.

Classified as a “strategic airport” in the National Airports Plan and located in the heart of the Emilian food valley and the automotive and packaging industrial districts, Bologna airport has a catchment area of about 11 million inhabitants and around 47,000 companies with a strong propensity to export and internationalization and with commercial expansion policies to Eastern Europe and Asia.
