Exeter Airport
Exeter Airport (ICAO: EGTE, IATA: EXT) began operating in 1937 (see history below) and holds a CAA public use aerodrome licence (P759).
Exeter and Devon Airport Limited, trading as Exeter Airport, is operated by Regional & City Airports (RCA) which has the Rigby Group plc as the parent company.
The Exeter Airport Management Team together with over 250 members of staff oversee the daily running of the airport.
The primary function is the management, delivery and operation of a range of airport services which enables passengers to move through the airport terminal building onto and from an aircraft in a safe manner with minimal delay and disruption.
Exeter Airport is also committed to monitoring and improving the overall quality, environmental and health and safety performance in all aspects of service delivery.
Airspace Change Proposal
Changes to airspace rules around Exeter Airport have been proposed. The changes aim to re-design the airspace around Exeter Airport and introduce new rules, maintaining safety for all air users and allowing for more efficient handling of aircraft.
