Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport is a major public airport in Broward County, Florida, United States, and is one of three airports serving the Miami metropolitan area.

The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is currently one of the fastest-recovering U.S. airports, with passenger traffic approaching pre-pandemic 2019 levels. Despite the lingering impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, FLL served nearly 28.1 million passengers, up from 16.5 million in 2020.  In 2020, the airport ranked 6th in total passenger traffic recovery and 4th in international traffic recovery amongst U.S. airports. Before the pandemic, FLL generated $37.5 billion in economic activity annually and nearly 18,000 direct, local jobs. 

​In 2019, FLL served 36.7 million passengers. It ranked 18th in the U.S. for total passenger traffic and 10th for international passengers, according to Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) data.  In 2018,  FLL welcomed 35.9 million passengers.  At peak travel activity, the airport averages about 350 departures a day and offers nonstop service to 84 U.S. cities and global connectivity to 66 international destinations in 33 countries.
