Unprecedented routes, extra flights and new store mix project a record passenger movement

Extra flights and new take-off options boost the terminal’s connectivity in high season, with differentiated alternatives for those who choose the northeast or south of the country as a destination. One of the highlights is the Gol route to Fortaleza, in operation since the beginning of the month, with three departures per week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), and extra flights on Mondays and Wednesdays. Departure time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays is 11:45 pm. On Saturdays at 12:40 pm.

Porto Seguro, Maceió, Florianópolis and Foz do Iguaçu are counting on seven extra flights per day, on average, in July. Around 50 charter flights are planned for this month, with Porto Seguro, Natal and Maceió as the main destinations. Recife and Porto Alegre are also part of the news. The two capitals are part of the new seasonal and regular routes launched by Gol, departing from the BH International Airport, boosting the economy, tourism and business at the national level.

The movement for the month of July projects around 7,400 aircraft operations and 886,000 passengers in the terminal, evidencing a resumption of 84% of pre-pandemic movement, always seeking to provide the best travel experience to passengers. Those who pass through the airport on this holiday will enjoy the new spaces opened: La Vinícola, which opened its doors to the public last Friday, in addition to the new commercial operations launched in the first half, completing a mix of ten stores. Among them, Rokkon, Pizza Hut and Subway.

It’s always important to remember
Arriving early is critical to speeding up the check-in and security inspection process, ensuring smooth boarding. BH Airport recommends that passengers pay special attention to boarding times and arrive at the airport at least two hours in advance, for domestic trips, and three hours, for international trips.
The concessionaire also guides the passenger to check the travel requirements before leaving home, certifying the personal documentation, especially for underage companions. All embark with a valid official document with photo (ID or passport, for example). Children under 12 years old can use valid photo ID or birth certificate (original or certified copy).
Certifying the documentation for the time of check-in is also essential. It can be done at the company’s counter, over the internet, through mobile device applications or self-service totems at the airport. Reinforcing that the last opportunity to request a name correction is before the check-in receipt is issued.
The use of a face protection mask is mandatory in the airport lounge, departure lounge and on aircraft. The aviation sector follows all guidelines from health authorities and the Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) so that visitors, the airport community and passengers feel safe to fly and circulate in the terminal.
The airport provides gel alcohol dispensers, protective barriers at user service points and informative stickers for floors, seats, bathrooms and elevators.
More than 40 destinations await passengers on vacation
In addition to the international routes (Lisbon/Portugal and Panama), the airport connects to 41 domestic destinations this month, between extra and regular flights: Belém (PA), Barreiras (BA), Brasília (DF), Cabo Frio (RJ), Campinas (SP), Carajás (PA), Comandatuba (BA), Congonhas (SP), Cuiabá (MT), Curitiba (PR), Florianópolis (SC), Fortaleza (CE), Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Guanambi (BA), Guarulhos (SP), Governador Valadares (MG), Goiânia (GO), Ilhéus (BA), Ipatinga (MG), Jericoacoara (CE), João Pessoa (PB), Jundiaí (SP), Londrina (PR), Maceió (AL), Marabá (PA), Montes Claros (MG), Natal (RN), Porto Alegre (RS), Porto Seguro (BA), Recife (PE), Ribeirão Preto (SP), Salvador (BA), Santos Dumont (RJ), São José do Rio Preto (SP), São Luís (MA), Uberaba (MG), Uberlândia (MG), Vitória (ES) e Vitória da Conquista (BA).
