BH Airport inaugurates nine commercial operations in two weeks

Lotérica, Subway, Strelar, Chilli Beans, Dufry, Aerokids, Doog and two Aerobags operations were launched in this new mix expansion

BH Airport moves forward towards the expansion of commercial infrastructure to provide more comfort, peace of mind, practicality and numerous solutions to passengers, visitors and the airport community. Consolidating itself as a smart city, the Minas Gerais international terminal launches nine new operations in fifteen days. The most recent opening took place today, with the opening of Lotérica, in the airport lobby.

The other innovations were the two Aerobags operations, open 24 hours a day, in the lobby, next to Check-ins 1 and 2. In the departure lounge, between gates 1 and 4, customers have the new stores, operating daily: Dufry, from 6 am to 10.30 pm, Subway, Strelar, Aerokids, Doog and Chilli Beans, from 7 am to 10 pm.

The developments are part of the mix of 80 commercial operations at BH Airport. The expectation is to open more than 30 stores this year. During the 11 months of 2022, from January to November, the expansion reached the number of 15 new operations. With the completion of the first phase of the renovation that modernized Passenger Terminal 1, in December 2022, six more operations opened their doors that month.

One of the launches was the Dufry megastore, in walkthrough format, with almost one thousand square meters, as the entrance to the new departure lounge at the airport. Over the past year, Pizza Hut, Rokkon, Cacau Show, Goccia Di Latte, La Vinícola and Dufry Express have opened their doors in the lobby. In the domestic departure lounge, California Coffee, Dufry Vinhos, Dufry Balas and Doog, Subway, Liqd Bar and Pandora were inaugurated, in addition to Kopenhagen, on arrival 2.

“We continue with an optimistic perspective for the coming months, seeking to expand our commercial infrastructure and surpass 2022, launching more than twice as many commercial operations inaugurated last year”, reveals the Retail and Hospitality manager, Lucas Malachias. “We always seek to provide a unique travel experience to customers, as a connection hub that shortens distances and brings people together, offering diversified options for shopping, food and socializing”, he concludes.
