BH International Airport moves the Vetor Norte gastronomic circuit with the opening of the Flavors Festival

Living Heineken, Rokkon, Nescafé, Forneria Ouro Preto, Casa Bauducco and Kopenhagen are some of the operations participating in the event.

Starting Saturday, the 27th, Vetor Norte will be the center of flavor, experience and diversity with the first tourist-gastronomic trade in the region: the Flavors Festival. Until September 11, the event will bring together the best deals in local gastronomy, presenting exclusive dishes to tourists from all over the country.

The festival inaugurates a milestone for innovation in the segment with a hybrid format and circuit programming. The opening will take place at 10:00 am at the Belo Horizonte International Airport, with musical attractions, ecotourism demonstrations and a guided visit by businesspeople from the region to the gastronomic spaces of the terminal, to taste the irresistible flavors prepared for the festival.

“The festival will inaugurate a new perspective for the state’s economy, moving the sector with partnerships focused on networking, business rounds and good food”, says the Commercial and New Business director of BH Airport, Marcos Mandacaru.

Pineapple oil was chosen to highlight the authenticity of the dishes as an exclusive ingredient. Living Heineken, Rokkon, Nescafé, Forneria Ouro Preto, Casa Bauducco and Kopenhagen are some of the gastronomic centers of the Minas Gerais terminal that have already guaranteed participation in the festival, with mouthwatering delicacies. Highlights include the savory three-cheese panettone drizzled with pineapple oil, the Canadian tenderloin pizza with pineapple, the tapioca dices with pineapple jelly, the ice cream with flambéed pineapple and the tropical salmon poke.

“Our objective is to establish the festival in the annual calendar of the biggest events in Minas Gerais, developing the economy, strengthening tourism and promoting Minas Gerais gastronomy with a diversity of options ranging from snacks to the most elaborate dish, to provide a unique tasting experience to the taste and create positive memories for the public”, emphasizes Marcos Mandac.
