DFW Airport Expands Its Concessions Line-Up as Partners Collect Multiple Industry Awards
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is continuing to expand its dining, shopping and customer experience offering, with more than a dozen new concessions and amenities opening across its terminals this year.
The latest additions form part of DFW’s growing portfolio of more than 200 concessions, bringing together local North Texas favourites, national brands and premium customer experiences as the airport continues its wider terminal modernisation programme.
Among the newest additions are local brands including Brewed, Deep Ellum Brewing, Art-K-Texture and Lone Chimney Mercantile, alongside national names such as Portillo’s, Raising Cane’s, Whataburger, TGI Fridays, Chili’s, Auntie Anne’s and The Peach Cobbler Factory.
DFW’s concessions partners have also been attracting industry recognition, with several receiving awards or finalist positions in 2026. Smoothie King was named Best New National Brand Concept by Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), while other recognised concepts include Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf + Bakery, Chili’s and Plaza Premium Lounge.
The airport’s expanding concessions programme complements ongoing terminal improvements, which are adding new gates, customer amenities and public spaces across DFW. The programme is designed to provide passengers with more opportunities to eat, shop, relax and personalise their journey while reflecting the character and culture of North Texas.
“Every new concession represents another opportunity to introduce visitors to North Texas, support local businesses and create an airport experience that is memorable long before customers board their flight,” said Ken Buchanan, DFW’s Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer.
DFW’s development comes as airports across North America mark Airports Council International’s Airport Concessions Day, this year themed ‘Regional Flavor and Flare’. For DFW, the growing mix of local and national brands provides another way for the airport to showcase North Texas while welcoming travellers from around the world.
