Hartsfield-Jackson Announces “Reading on the Fly” Program with Page Turners Make Great Learners

Digital partnership provides targeted literacy awareness to families and children traveling through ATL

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) recently launched “Reading on the Fly” a digital partnership with Page Turners Make Great Learners, a dedicated child literacy group. From  Nov. 1 to Jan. 31, ATL will feature QR codes on digital advertisement boards strategically placed throughout the Airport terminal complex providing passengers with an interactive and convenient way to support child literacy.

As part of this collaboration, passengers can simply scan the QR codes to access curated reading lists tailored for different age groups. This initiative aims to make a positive impact on children’s education and encourage a culture of reading, turning any moment – like waiting at an airport – into an opportunity for learning and enrichment.

“We believe in the power of reading to shape young minds and create a brighter future,” said ATL Deputy General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer Jai Ferrell. “By partnering with Page Turners Make Great Learners, we’re excited to leverage our Airport space to promote child literacy and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youngest travelers.”

This collaborative effort underscores ATL’s commitment to community engagement and education. Since 2015, Page Turners Make Great Learners has partnered with ATL to ensure deserving students have books to read. All passengers are encouraged to scan the QR codes and join in fostering a love for reading among our youth.
