Madrid Airport enables a new terrace for passengers in Terminal T4

Those passengers who pass through the Madrid airport, will be able to enjoy an outdoor terrace located on the south side of Terminal T4.

The terrace, of about 500 m2, can be accessed from the boarding area in the Departures area; also by walkway to the T4 building the passengers who have just arrived -before going to the baggage reclaim hall.

Unlike many spaces in the airport, this new area is designated for smokers and is located outside the terminal building. It has a side enclosure of 2.35 m. glazed with translucent glass and meets all ventilation standards for being outdoors. It also complies with security measures, with its corresponding evacuation exits in case of emergency.

The space has 10 tables equipped with stools and several vending machines with snacks and hot and cold drinks.

It is also expected that it will soon be completed with the installation of electrical recharging plugs for mobile and work devices.
