To Belgrade in the heart of the Balkans

Belgrade is an almost undiscovered pearl of the Balkans. Joie de vivre, a spirit of optimism and the warm hospitality of the locals determine the atmosphere in the Serbian capital. The city is divided into numerous districts, each with its own charm, from the inner city with its narrow streets to hip and creative Savamala. The Sava and the Danube, which flow together here, characterise the cityscape of the beautiful metropolis. The promenades in the city centre are lined with inviting cafes and restaurants.

Belgrade has a rich and turbulent history, with numerous upheavals reaching into the recent past. The mighty Kalemegdan Fortress is one of the symbols of the city, it is an impressive example of the historical importance of Belgrade. But not only history is omnipresent here, Belgrade is also the centre of a very lively art, culture and music scene. Young artists have made the city their own, and today there are galleries, clubs and cultural offerings in numerous places.
