Activities at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito are developing normally this Thursday, January 11, while precaution measures aimed to protect the safety of passengers, airport collaborators, infrastructure, aircraft and air operations continue to be applied.
In the passengers terminal, normality is evident in the flow of travelers, crews and airport employees, while domestic and international flights follow their usual itineraries.
Outside the terminal, the passengers’ relatives or companions also collaborate with the security measures and controls established at the access points to the Mariscal Sucre airport, carried out by members of the Armed Forces, National Police, AMT and EPMSA personnel, and private security.
We maintain the request to passengers and visitors not to leave abandoned their belongings, such as hand luggage, backpacks or plastic bags, as any abandoned object is considered suspicious and will be reviewed by the Police and Armed Forces.
Passengers are advised to check their flight status with the airline before heading to the airport. In case of cancellation, it is advisable not to go, since entry to the terminal will not be allowed.
We appreciate everyone’s collaboration to guarantee the safety and efficiency of our air operations. All of us who belong to the airport community are committed to the well-being of those who use the Quito airport.
