Santos Brasil Logística expands capillarity to BH International Airport

Santos Brasil has just signed a commercial agreement with Belo Horizonte International Airport and becomes its new provider of integrated logistics services in the Port of Santos.

The operation, which will begin in the next few days, involves road transport of fractional cargo (DTA Hub model), with a weekly frequency, connecting the Minas Gerais airport and the port of Santos. It also includes delivery and removal of goods throughout the port and storage and unloading at the Company’s Industrial Customs Logistic Center (Clia) in Santos.

With the partnership, Santos Brasil Logística expands its reach to the southern regions of Minas Gerais and the capital of Minas Gerais, serving the airport’s Multimodal Logistics Hub, which will receive investments of around R$ 30 million throughout this year to expand its cargo receipt.

This new contract is in line with the Company’s strategic planning, which has multimodal logistics as one of its growth pillars, expanding the offer of services beyond the port and consolidating itself as a logistics operator that goes from the port to e-commerce.​
