- Amongst the newest routes at Heathrow is the UK’s only direct service to St Louis, the USA’s ‘gateway to the west’.
Passengers and exporters flying from Heathrow will have more destinations to choose from this summer as a host of new routes launch from the UK’s international gateway, delivering greater value for its customers. These new services show the confidence airlines have in Europe’s most punctual hub as they continue to grow their businesses alongside Heathrow.
During the 2026 summer travel season, passengers will be able to fly on new services to Rome and Seattle, alongside connections to St Louis, Seville, Tivat, Guernsey, Islamabad and Lahore. The routes arrive as demand for travel through Heathrow continues to grow, with the airport welcoming a record 84.5 million passengers in 2025 and recently marking its busiest February on record.
From historic Andalusian streets and Adriatic coastlines to the iconic skyline of Seattle, the world’s most connected airport’s expanding network continues to offer passengers more choice and more inspiration when planning their next getaway.
Ross Baker, Heathrow’s Chief Customer Officer, said: “Every route launched from Heathrow gives passengers and businesses a new way to explore the world. Whether travelling for work or leisure, we are proud to collaborate with our airline partners to open up opportunities for passengers, exporters and importers. Greater connectivity is something passengers and businesses consistently say they want, which is why Heathrow expansion is so critical. It will add new routes and introduce more choice. Our plans will ensure the country gets the infrastructure it needs to stay competitive, connecting the whole of the UK to global growth.”
