Tender for the construction of a new "Long Term" parking lot at Henri Coandă" Airport Launched

The National Airports Company of Bucharest is accelerating the modernization process of the “Henri Coandă” Airport and announces the launch of the tender for the construction of a new “Long Term” parking lot for passengers.

The parking lot will be multi-storey, will have 4 levels, and passengers will benefit from 795 long-term parking spaces.

The new infrastructure will be located on the airport grounds, in the vicinity of the CFR “Aeroport Henri Coandă” railway station, with direct exits to the road to DN1. Passenger access to the parking lot will be easy, through the airport’s internal road network, the land being located near the “South” roundabout. Both the existing buildings on the land, with a total built-up area of ​​535.00 m², and the road and pedestrian access system to the Tarom Training Center building will be fully preserved.

To reduce the execution time of the works, the Bucharest Airports Company may request that the execution of certain categories of works be carried out 24 hours a day, and the constructor must consider a work schedule including at night and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The parking lot will be completed within a maximum of 2 years from the issuance of the work commencement order.

The estimated value of the works is 62.6 million lei.

The project is part of the “Henri Coandă” Airport modernization program, and the deadline for submitting bids is June 10, 2026.

At the same time, the Bucharest National Airports Company has also initiated the steps for the construction of other parking lots, as well as for the modernization and consolidation of the “Arrivals” multi-storey car park.
