Terminal 2, the Former El Dorado Puente Aereo, Gets a Facelift

With the arrival of domestic flights from airline Jet Smart, Terminal 2, formerly known as the Puente Aereo, undergoes renovations. Expansion of seating areas in waiting rooms, installation of veripax machines for digital reading of boarding passes, flooring replacement, new retail spaces, and modernization of restrooms are part of this remodeling.

With the arrival of domestic flights of the airline Jet Smart, the Terminal 2 – former Puente Aereo – undergoes a makeover to provide travelers with an enhanced experience.

The comprehensive renovation includes flooring replacement, counters’ rearrangement, installation of over 270 tandem-style seats in waiting areas and 27 more at the charging bar; addition of 2 new retail spaces, restroom remodeling, FIDS screens providing real-time flight information, and veripax machines for digital boarding pass reading.

We have adapted Terminal 2 – formerly the Puente Aereo – to ensure travelers can take their domestic flights in a more comfortable and efficient manner,” stated Natalí Leal, OPAIN General Manager.
