BAPCO 2024: driving the UK crit comms sector

Registration has opened for the 2024 annual British APCO Conference and Exhibition, taking place in Coventry next March.

The show will once again feature two days of cutting-edge conference sessions, designed to help shape UK public safety communications discourse and drive the conversation. The event will also feature the biggest equipment manufacturers in the industry, enabling attendees to get ahead of the tech game in anticipation of a crucial next-12 months.

Since the inception of ESN nearly ten years ago, the annual BAPCO conference has become the place to learn about UK public safety’s ongoing move to broadband. This year will maintain that proud tradition, with presentations from the Home Office as well as the anticipated users of the technology themselves.

At the same time, the conference will also be more wide-ranging and diverse than ever before, boasting a truly global feel. Other key topics for discussion will include the use of AI and chatbots, collaborative working, advances in location services and more. Presentations representing the international community meanwhile will come from as near as Belgium and as far away as New Zealand.

Moving back to the exhibition, headline sponsors for this year include Motorola Solutions, Hytera and Saab.

Technology on display will include narrowband and broadband devices, control room solutions and much more, all of which will be available to experience via the event’s perennially popular tech tours.
