The Counter Terrorism Symposium, Training & Exhibition to be held 12-15 September 2017 at Miami International Airport Auditorium has been postponed & rescheduled for October 2017 due to Hurricane Irma.
As you are aware, Hurricane Irma a dangerous Category 5 hurricane, with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph, which is currently located approximately 1,475 miles east-southeast of Miami. The potential for impacts to South Florida are increasing and plans are being rapidly implemented to ensure the safety of Florida residents as well as those within the cone. Miami-Dade County. Florida Governor Rick Scott has declared a statewide emergency to emphasize the importance of response to this critical threat to life-safety and ensure all necessary resources are being allocated to prepare for this storm.
