Civil Aviation Flight and Operation Technology Congress 2026
Event Information
Currently, the global aeronautical and astronautical industry is embracing a strategic opportunity period featuring the green and low-carbon transition, the reshaping of supply chain resilience and the vigorous development of the low-altitude economy. The innovative iteration of advanced new materials and manufacturing processes for aeronautics and astronautics has become a core driving force for the high-quality upgrading of the industry, and even a key grasp for all countries to seize the competitive high ground in the aeronautical and astronautical industry.
Materials and the aeronautical and astronautical industry have always empowered each other and developed in coordination, and the R&D and application of advanced materials form the core support for the iterative upgrading of aeronautical and astronautical technologies. As the fundamental core of aeronautical and astronautical products, aeronautical and astronautical materials directly determine the technical performance, safety and reliability, service life and economic affordability of aircraft and spacecraft, and exert a profound impact on the manufacturing cost and industrialization efficiency of equipment airframe structures.
The high-quality development of the aeronautical and astronautical equipment industry cannot be achieved without the solid support of material technologies. The core raw materials for aeronautical and astronautical equipment cover key categories such as titanium alloys, special steel, superalloys, ceramic matrix composites and carbon fiber composites.
In recent years, Chinese enterprises in the field of aeronautical and astronautical materials have been increasing R&D investment steadily, with their technological innovation capabilities improved step by step. The technical indicators and industrialization level of core products have achieved remarkable breakthroughs, laying a solid material foundation for the development of the aeronautical and astronautical equipment industry.
12th Annual Aeronautical and Astronautical Materials and Manufacturing Technology Congress 2026, themed “Soaring into the Future, Connecting the World through Materials”, will be held in Anshun City, Guizhou Province. Leveraging the profound industrial heritage and distinctive advantages of the local aeronautical and astronautical industry, the conference aims to build a high-end whole-industry-chain platform integrating high-end dialogue, technical exchange, achievement display, investment promotion, project matching and cooperation signing. It will bring together top global R&D institutions, manufacturers, material suppliers and industry experts to jointly showcase and discuss the latest progress and industrialization paths of cutting-edge technologies such as composite materials, superalloys, additive manufacturing and low-altitude equipment materials. The congress will promote the in-depth integration of government, industry, academia, research and application, inject new vitality into the global aeronautical and astronautical industry to address development challenges and jointly map out a future blueprint, and support Anshun in building a national highland for the innovative development of aeronautical and astronautical materials and advanced manufacturing processes.
