The 10th Annual Commercial Aero Engine Technology Congress

At present, China is at a crucial juncture in the overall planning of the “14th Five-Year Plan” (2026-2030). As the core support of the national strategic emerging industries, the aero-engine industry has entered a critical stage. From the strategic dimension of national key technologies to the market demand of civil aviation, the independent and high-end development of aero-engines has become an important symbol to measure a country’s scientific and technological strength and industrial level, and technological innovation is the core engine driving the breakthrough and upgrading of this industry.

Although China’s aero-engine industry has made great progress, the current aviation supply chain still faces many challenges: the “choke point” problem in the core technology field has not been completely solved, the coordination efficiency of upstream and downstream enterprises is insufficient, and there is a gap between the technical standards of key links and the international advanced level. These factors have restricted the high-quality development of the industry to a certain extent. The aero-engine industry is characterized by intensive technology, long industrial chain and high coordination requirements. From the initial link of design and R&D to material preparation, precision processing, and finally test and testing, each link requires in-depth participation and efficient linkage of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain. Only by integrating the strength of the whole chain, such as complete machine manufacturing, component supporting, material R&D, equipment supply, to realize resource sharing, technical complementarity and risk sharing, can we form a strong joint force for industrial development and clear obstacles for the continuous progress of the aero-engine industry.

This congress takes core sections such as advanced design and research and development, intelligent manufacturing, advanced processing technology, high-temperature materials and experimental testing as the communication carriers, aiming to build a high-end platform integrating technical discussions, achievement displays and cooperation connections, promoting the full exchange of experiences, consensus building and deepening of cooperation among the main bodies of all links in the industrial chain. Through the joint empowerment of the entire industrial chain, accelerate the breakthrough and transformation application of key core technologies, enhance the stability, safety and competitiveness of the aviation supply chain, and ultimately promote the high-quality and sustainable development of aero engine industry.
