CAA to hold PRM and Airport Accessibility Stakeholder Conference:
“Working to ensure everyone has fair access to air travel”
Launch: CAP 1629 – CAA report on hidden disabilities
Richard Moriarty, Chief Executive, Civil Aviation Authority, will deliver the conference keynote speech and formally launch CAP 1629, the CAA report on hidden disabilities and airports.
Following the CAA’s successful staging of PRM stakeholder meetings at CAA House in Central London (regularly attended by some 70 expert stakeholders from over 25 UK airports), this year the CAA will be hosting this event as a one-day conference at the Heathrow-hosted British-Irish Airports EXPO at Olympia-London on 12 June 2018.
Launch of CAP 1629, CAA report on hidden disabilities
The formal launch of CAP 1629, the CAA report on hidden disabilities and airports, will be followed by an intensive discussion by airports and other stakeholders and interest groups. The conference will then broaden out into presentations from specialist stakeholders on other key PRM issues including accessibility and airport security, and recent innovations and trends in PRM equipment and services.
