Estonian manufacturer highlights two decades of reliable aircraft ground power solutions built for demanding airside environments.

TALLINN, ESTONIA, June 2026 – ElectroAir is marking 20 years since its founding in 2006, highlighting two decades of engineering, manufacturing and long-term support for aviation ground support equipment used in airport operations.

Since 2006, ElectroAir has developed and manufactured aircraft ground power systems and aviation ground support equipment designed to perform in demanding apron conditions, aircraft turnaround operations, MRO environments and ground handling workflows.

“Reliability has never been only a technical promise for ElectroAir. It is something customers confirm years after delivery, when the equipment is still operating, spare parts are still available and our team is still there to support them,” said Aleksandr Skrebnev, Head of Sales and Marketing at ElectroAir. “For 20 years, our focus has been to deliver ground support solutions that aviation operators can trust in their daily airside operations. ”

Over the past two decades, ElectroAir has grown from an engineering-driven Estonian manufacturer into an international supplier serving more than 500 clients in over 100 countries. The company’s portfolio includes 400 Hz ground power systems, 28.5 VDC power solutions, mobile ground power units, diesel, hybrid and battery-driven GPUs, PIT systems and integrated ground power infrastructure.

A key part of ElectroAir’s reliability approach is long-term support after delivery. Aviation ground support equipment is expected to remain in service for many years, often in high-use airside environments where downtime can affect aircraft readiness, passenger operations and maintenance planning.

The company’s experience across different airport projects has also shaped its engineering philosophy. Electrical requirements, aircraft fleets, climate conditions, stand layouts and ramp infrastructure vary from one operation to another. ElectroAir develops both standard and tailored ground power configurations to support real operational needs rather than theoretical use cases.

“Every airport operation has its own challenges,” added Aleksandr. “Our role is to make sure that ground power is available where and when it is needed and in a form that fits the customer’s infrastructure and daily workflow.”

As aviation infrastructure continues to modernise, dependable ground power remains one of the essential layers behind efficient, safe and predictable airport operations. ElectroAir’s next chapter builds on the same principle that has guided the company since 2006: delivering ground support equipment that customers can trust before, during and long after every operation.
