New airside facility follows seven customer additions in just over a year

HiSERV has moved into a new 650 m2 workshop at Copenhagen Airport, giving its fast- growing Danish business a larger, better-connected base. Operations started on 1 November.

The workshop sits in the airport’s cargo area with easy access from the apron. New fencing around the building places it airside, so customers can reach it directly from their operations at the airport. The landlord has invested DKK 3 million in renovating the facility. A dedicated team of GSE specialists runs the site, and it will grow in step with customer demand. HiSERV can also move to 24-hour operation if customers require it.

The opening follows steady growth in Denmark. HiSERV has won seven customers in just over a year and now supports more than 250 pieces of GSE in Copenhagen. Over 90% of the fleet is electric, in line with HiSERV’s ambition to lead the electrification of Copenhagen Airport.

“The new workshop puts us right where our customers operate, and gives us the space to grow with them. With a fleet that is already more than 90 per cent electric, we want to be the driving force behind a cleaner, quieter apron in Copenhagen.” – Rasmus Dyre, Managing Director HiSERV Norway & Denmark
