Meeting all API data capture requirements and enabling proper document authentication with three dedicated light sources is table stakes. Where the onyScan Pro pulls ahead is in what usually gets ignored: long-term operability, maintenance reality, and what comes after physical documents. Bluetooth and LAN capability prepares the device for future ID wallets and a possible cloud-based operation, while its patent-pending, on-site and tool-free glass replacement concept dramatically reduces downtime and repair costs.

Sustainability is engineered into the onyScan Pro, not added as an afterthought. No glue is used during production, allowing the scanner to be dismantled and its individual components recycled. The unique glass replacement concept extends the product’s usable life in the field, significantly reducing waste and scrap costs. When not in use, the onyScan Pro automatically switches to a power-safe mode, cutting energy consumption while returning to full operational readiness in under one second.
