At Airspace World 2026 in Lisbon, Rohde & Schwarz will showcase CERTIUM AI, a voice‑to‑data solution that transforms voice communications into operational intelligence. Live demonstrations and a panel discussion on AI’s future role in air‑traffic management at the booth.

Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its new CERTIUM AI solution at Airspace World 2026, taking place 26th to 28th of May 2026 in Lisbon on booth F28 in hall 1. The system transforms pilot‑controller radio exchanges into immediate, actionable data, helping controllers navigate operational complexity while boosting safety and efficiency; attendees can see it in action during a live demo at the Rohde & Schwarz booth.

CERTIUM AI was developed in collaboration with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and introduces a new layer of operational intelligence by making information derived from voice communication directly available within ATC systems. It enhances situational awareness, reduces controller workload, and supports the maintenance of the highest safety standards through intelligent automation.

Relevant information is made available in real time within systems such as radar displays and flight data environments. This enables a more consistent operational picture and the early identification of potential inconsistencies.

CERTIUM AI is part of the CERTIUM suite, an integrated ATC communication environment designed for seamless integration into operational systems. It is implemented within a project-based approach, tailored to specific operational requirements, ensuring alignment with existing workflows and procedures.

At Airspace World, Rohde & Schwarz will present live demonstrations of CERTIUM AI, and showcase it on site together with DLR. It will provide insights into practical introduction of AI in operational ATC environments. Rohde & Schwarz will also contribute to a panel discussion on the role of AI in future air traffic management, bringing together experts from operations, technology and research, namely from EANS, Rohde & Schwarz and DLR.

“Air traffic control is becoming increasingly complex, the challenge is to introduce new technologies in a way that delivers real operational value,” said Marius Münstermann, Vice President Air Traffic Control, Rohde & Schwarz. “With CERTIUM AI, we demonstrate how Artificial Intelligence can be integrated into existing workflows to support controllers, while maintaining the highest safety standards.”

Rohde & Schwarz at Airspace World 2026:
