For almost half a century, Zoeftig has delivered bespoke terminal seating solutions to a breadth of clients across the globe. With our head office in Cornwall, UK, our domestic portfolio boasts projects in some of the United Kingdom’s busiest and best-known airports. We pride ourselves on being the go-to seating provider for high quality tailored solutions that are able to meet individual specifications on a client-by-client basis.

With a presence in seven out of the UK’s top 10 busiest airports, a recent project saw the delivery of 350 units of our Zenky seating in the new Bussing Lounge at Birmingham Airport. The lounge is designed to be a short dwell space where passengers wait for an airside transfer bus to board their plane, and required comfortable and accessible seating. The seats were provided in four-seat three-arm configurations and mainly upholstered in Boltaflex Colourguard Espresso, with PRM disabled access seats differentiated with Bluejay Vinyl upholstery and an embroidered wheelchair logo.

Birmingham is just one of the numerous UK airports that Zoeftig has supplied to in recent years. Our Zenky solution has been commissioned all over the country to meet the specific needs of individual airports from Scotland to the West Country. In 2015, Bristol Airport underwent an £8.5m extension to bolster its position as one of the UK’s fastest growing terminals, with its annual footfall increasing to a record 6.7 million by the end of that year. In total, 2,100 of the Zoeftig Zenky+ range were commissioned to provide unparalleled comfort, efficiency and modern convenience for today’s travellers. The Zenky+ range was originally designed specifically for the North American market, offering larger seat and back measurements than the standard option, but continuing to offer the same unrivalled strength and durability.

Our Zenky range has enjoyed continued popularity amongst the UK’s busiest airports, with Gatwick, Luton, Manchester and Edinburgh all selecting this option as their seating solution of choice. However, in 2016, Glasgow Airport opted instead to commission 1,700 units of our inFINITE range to suit its development.
