First time exhibitor Five’s will present its newGENI-BeltTM BH cross belt, an upgraded version of its cross-belt technology system for automated baggage handling system at airports.

The upgraded version is the result of the company’s environmental analysis of the product to quantify its performance and assess market position in this highly competitive sector.

The GENI-BeltTM BH is a very compact design, with the ability to continuously control and track bags, without causing damage, and with 99.99% accuracy with any type of baggage handled.

Its sorting speed and throughput rates are higher than with the traditional Tilt Tray sorter, with energy generated and distributed by a patented built-in power generation system that is fully redundant and fault tolerant with patented friction drives which the company say are more efficient and reliable than linear synchronous motors.
GENI-Belt is easy to maintain, with parallel architecture and a simple electrical design, together with the diagnosis controls in case of any failure, the repair can be postponed eliminating any single point of failure from the entire system.
