IFEMA MADRID greets the World ATM Congress 2022 from 21 to 23 June and it is again hosting the Expodrónica Pavilion where there will be a specifically devoted space focused on advanced air mobility (AAM)

The ninth edition of World ATM Congress; which includes the Expodrónica Pavillion for the second year in a row, sponsored by UMILES Group; will open on the 21st of June at IFEMA MADRID in a meeting where the most important organisations of ATM (air traffic management) and UTM (UAS -unmanned aircraft systems- Traffic Management) industry sector will be joined, counting on more than 190 exhibitors and more than 200 sessions by professionals involved in the development and management of airspace and unmanned aerial systems. Furthermore, in this edition 2022 World ATM Congress will count on the largest European for Aviation stand to date, utilizing 399 square metres and including nine European organisations of recognised prestige in world air traffic management and regulation.

Among the main novelties for this edition is a new space exclusively devoted to AAM (Advanced Air Mobility). The Expodrónica Pavilion is an AAM Pavilion that showcases the latest advances in aerial transport by the use of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) in inaccessible environments for current aviation systems, or areas with access difficulties for surface transport, such as urban zones of high density or remote geographical areas.

“World ATM Congress is offering the greatest chance for all the civil and military ATM/UTM sector to be involved in the construction of the future sky, a space where coexistence of traditional aviation and UAS systems is already a reality”, Kenneth Carlisle, Director of Meetings and Expositions claims.

The most important international event in the world about ATM and UTM is taking place from 21 to 23 June 2022 at IFEMA MADRID. The exhibition hall gathers leading companies in the aviation and drone sector, including an important institutional participation, civil and military. It will count on an exhibition zone about manned and unmanned aircrafts, and seven Education Theatres that discuss future challenges with esteemed international experts.
