Amadeus will be showcasing its full suite of airport management and passenger processing solutions, including its new report into the use of ACUS technology to streamline airline department control system while streamlining network connectivity.

Within its distribution business, Amadeus acts as an electronic sales platform for travel services, providing search, pricing, booking, ticketing and other processing services to travel providers and travel agencies.

Through its IT solutions business, it offers software systems for travel companies to automate processes, including reservations, inventory management, airport check-in and boarding, airport operations, baggage reconciliation, flight sequencing and aircraft weight and balance.

Amadeus expanded fully into the airport IT business in 2013 and in 2014 acquired UFIS Airport Solutions. Amadeus continued its expansion and growth with its second purchase in just 14 months, acquiring US based AirIT in April 2015; cementing its commitment to the future of the airport IT sector.
