Grooving has been shown to significantly improve drainage on airfield runways & taxiways. This reduces the risk of hydroplaning, reduces stopping distances & makes it safer for aircraft to take off and land.
From large runway grooving projects to small concrete retexturing works, our teams are highly skilled and experienced in cutting parallel grooves into concrete or asphalt surfaces to improve macro texture and create better water dissipation and therefore safety.
We operate a fleet of modern self-collecting machines which can groove up to 1 metre wide in a single pass, leaving surfaces clean and slurry-free. This reduces the need for sweeping and enables a FOD and dust-free handover.
