The Enatel Battery Monitoring Module (BMM) is a rugged, robust device that provides valuable insights into battery health and usage. The monitor is mounted directly on top of the lead-acid battery measuring key information including battery voltage, charge and discharge current, balance temperature and electrolyte level. It also offers temperature and voltage compensation to extend battery lifespan when used with an Enatel charger.
This data is logged on the BMM and can be accessed via the Enatel charger, BMM Support App, or Enatel’s telematics platform. By accessing this information, end users can improve battery life, enhance maintenance activities, and more effectively identify and address operational issues across their fleet. Adding BMMs to batteries allows Enatel chargers to automatically charge all lead‑acid battery types, voltages, and capacities without any operator input, delivering true plug‑and‑play operation.
Key Features
- Measures battery voltage, current, balance, temperature, and electrolyte level
- Logs battery data locally for access via charger, app, or telematics platform
- Allows automatic charging
- Stores individual battery charge profiles
- Supports lead‑acid batteries from 12V to 120V
- Fast installation
- Simple configuration via web interface or BMM Support App
Installation is quick and straightforward. Battery positive, negative, and midpoint connections are made using insulation‑piercing connectors, providing a robust electrical connection without the need to remove cable insulation.
Battery Monitoring Module BMM-BT3 The BMM communicates real time battery conditions to the charger to optimise the charge cycle. This means that your fleet is ready for peak demand.
Battery Power Tracker BPT-BT3 Optimised for undertaking power surveys to assess how a site is operating. It gains insights to how a battery/truck is used with a permanent BMM install.
