The Fire Rated Meter Overbox is designed to provide the perfect solution to cover either new or damaged electricity meter boxes. The Fire Rated Meter Overbox provides fire rating and convenient and secure access to your meters and other such equipment (for internal application only). The Overboxes are designed to either replace an existing Electrical Overbox or to be fitted over an existing meter box directly, where the original is built into the wall.
Metal Faced Meter Box, 2 Hour fire rated, Metal Door, 25mm wide Picture Frame, Budget Lock, 8mm Triangular Electrical Cabinet Insert, Single Door Unit, Powder Coated RAL 9010 30% Gloss, the 1st dimension stated is the hinge side. The dimensions stated are size of the structural opening that needs covering.
- Frame depth of 70mm as standard, other depths available upon request.
- This panel has a Fire Test Certificate up to 1070x650mm in a Wall application covered by Fire Certificate Number 435047 tested in accordance with BSEN 1634-1 from the meter side (Rear).
