Structurally supported by the steel truss,the side walls of PBB can be covered with various types of glass(insulated or laminated glass etc.).To harmonize the architecture of terminal building,various types of glass with different colors are available for clients’ option.The glass-walled PBB offers passengers a pleasant transition and a comfortable overview of the airport.
- The side walls of the gangway adopt double-layer insulated glass, which is mounted on the outer side of the steel structure. Two glass types are available for selection:
- 6+9+6mm insulated tempered LOW-E coated glass
- 6+9+6mm insulated laminated glass
- The glass dimensions can be customized as required to balance aesthetic appearance and adaptability to local climatic conditions of the project.
- Light transmittance: ≥45%
- Thermal conductivity coefficient: k=2.9 W/m²K
- Effective measures shall be implemented to prevent glass discoloration caused by ultraviolet radiation.
