The second generation of the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact from DERMALOG combines the benefits of a compact size with the ability to read fingerprints and documents. Designed for minimal power consumption, the scanner is ideal for integration into mobile capture systems.

The LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact from DERMALOG combines two modalities in one device: capturing flat or rolled fingerprints and scanning documents in ID 1 format. This allows ID cards, driver’s licenses, or barcodes to be captured with the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact. Document capture is facilitated by the flat support of the document, as focusing is not required and reflections or disturbing ambient light influences are avoided. In many cases, this eliminates the need for additional equipment to capture documents.

With a thickness of less than 0.5 inches (12.1 mm) and a weight of 0.3 lbs. (133 g), the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact is the smallest tenprint scanner on the market. Its volume is over 60% smaller than the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO. Each component inside the scanner has been designed to maximize the potential of a light and thin enclosure, saving space and weight in portable jump kits or mobile devices.

A flat surface and squared shape allow the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact to be smoothly integrated into all kinds of portable or mobile enrollment solutions. Its four mounting points enable a firm mechanical fixation. Powered by the USB 2.0 interface, no external power supply is required to operate the scanner. Supported by the TOUCHLAB SDK, integration into applications is straightforward and equipped with powerful features. Additionally, with an IP protection class of IP65, the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact is resistant to dust and water, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.
