A-ICE celebrates major milestone at Ground Handling International Conference

Company A-ICE
Date 21.11.2022

A-ICE, the specialist in airport IT, is marking an important anniversary in 2022, and has invited delegates at the 23rd Annual Ground Handling International (GHI) Conference to join the celebrations.

The business has reached its milestone 18th birthday this year, having been established by founders Claudio Ferrari, Claudio Costantini and Marco Labricciosa in 2004. Since then, the company has gone from strength-to-strength, implementing software solutions to airport operators, airlines and ground handlers at aviation hubs across Europe and the world.

As a regular attendee at industry events, A-ICE chose to mark the occasion with members of the global aviation community who are attending the GHI Conference in Amsterdam. As such, it will be extending the offer of birthday drinks to delegates attending the company’s stand (E50) during our presentation on 1st December, for more details, please contact one of our team members.

Claudio Ferrari, co-founder and Sales Director of A-ICE said: “We are proud to have grown A-ICE over the past 18 years to become a trusted supplier to leading airports and aviation companies across the world. Over that time, we have continued to develop our offering and evolve as an organisation, building up a huge amount of experience.”

“The GHI Conference comes at the perfect time for us to reflect on that growth and to look ahead to the future. Today, as an 18-year-old business, we have an offering that combines technical expertise and flexible delivery in a cost-effective model. It is based on a deep understanding of how technology can meet the demands of tomorrow’s dynamic aviation market.”

The A-ICE range of software products control critical airport, flight and passenger operations, whether integrated into multi-provider IT systems or deployed as a self-contained suite of cloud-based applications (Airport in Cloud). They have all been designed to be easy-to-use, offering near plug-and-play functionality to reduce start-up time, enhance operational efficiency and minimise costs.

At the GHI Conference A-ICE will be showcasing its powerful suite of ground-handling technologies, including its Baggage Reconciliation System (A-BRS), Handling Database (A-HDB), and Weight and Balance System (A-WBS). The software streamlines the management of key processes through the use of automation and gives complete real-time visibility throughout the ground-handling cycle.
