Independent testing by TÜV and UL confirms the exceptional durability of our cables.

Test Results – Cycles to Failure
All SAB GPU cables with PUR and special polymer sheaths passed the tests. To highlight material performance, the UL test was continued until the cable failed, beyond the standard requirement. For comparison, the commonly used, cost-effective H07RN-F rubber cable was also tested:

This comparison clearly demonstrates that H07RN-F, although a cheaper and frequently used alternative, performs far worse under abrasion stress. Choosing SAB PUR GPU cables provides over 12× higher durability, reducing maintenance needs and ensuring long-term reliability in demanding airport and industrial environments.
