Punctually at 07:30 o´clock at New Year´s Day STI resumed passenger screening services at the airport Frankfurt-Hahn. STI´s CEO Mr. Ulrich Duennes and Director of STI´s Services department Mr. Raimund Bernet, together with the newly appointed station manager, Ms. Marita Allmendinger, warmly welcomed the staff of the early shift to their first service for their new employer.

As salutation all new colleagues received a welcome gift along with best wishes for a successful career with STI GmbH. STI won a tendering process for the passenger screening services in the fall of 2013 and replaced FraSec GmbH, which was responsible for the security at the airport Frankfurt-Hahn for many years. Almost all former employees of FraSec GmbH, which were responsible to conduct passenger screening services, transferred to STI GmbH. This fact guaranteed a smooth transition period and was in the very best interest of all participating parties.

Since 11 years STI also successfully conducts passenger screening services at the airport Niederrhein-Weeze and plays a vital part at the airports security concept. This experience will help to assure to perform the task at Frankfurt-Hahn airport in the most efficient manner possible.
