AFS Farnborough 2022 Readiness

AFS Aviation specializes in bespoke Aviation Ground Handling Support designed specifically to enhance Airport Operations as well as providing the all-important Airshow Ground Services when called upon. This includes the out of the ordinary events that occur when World Leaders come together as happened in the UK in Cornwall for the G7 Summit at the beginning of June 2021.

AFS Aviation welcomed the opportunity to work alongside Pete Downes and his Cornwall Airport Operations.  James Ford, AFS Aviation MD worked closely with Pete and his team along with our skilled Aviation Ground Operations Team and having provided the additional Ground Support Equipment to support the variety of visiting Aircraft over this important weekend, everything came together well.

With the cancellation of the Farnborough Airshow 2020 due to the pandemic, we were more than ready to rise to the occasion sending a 20-man strong team to support the visiting aircraft movements, carrying out arrival and departure activities to ensure the operation ran smoothly.

With the well-known International Airshow at Farnborough already in the planning stages for next year and we are starting to see some movement in the Aviation Industry, 2022 cannot come soon enough.

AFS Aviation Ground Services are available for Special Events to add extra manpower and depth to your operations.
