To help companies to lower their material handling costs and reduce their carbon footprint, KieTek distribute an innovative alternative to standard lift truck forks. RollerForks® are basically regular forks with two layers of rollers encased in each fork. The rollers allow the user to move loads without the need for pallets.

RollerForks

As the lift truck lowers it's forks when moving towards cargo to be moved the lower rollers touch the floor and begin to roll forwards. The rollers laying on top are then forced to roll in the opposite direction allowing the forks to slide easily under the load without causing a disruption to the products. As the load is lifted, the rollers drop below the surface of the forks and allow the load to rest securely on the forks.

The RollerFork® system can still be used as effectively as standard forks when lifting pallets and so  are ideal in places where pallets are occasionly used. A range of other benefits of the RollerForks® are listed below;

• A dedicated lift truck is not needed
• Hydrulics are not required for operation
• Lift trucks do not require extra power as the RollerForks® weigh about the same as regular forks
• Products can be placed onto pallets easily
• The operator has better visibilty and is able to work faster
