Veldeman is the first tent manufacturer in the Benelux to obtain EN 1090 certificate

With effect from 1^st July 2014, all load-bearing structural components of steel and aluminium are required by law to have CE marking, and to be manufactured in conformity with the requirements of the EN 1090 standard.

Veldeman Structure Solutions is the first tent manufacturer from the Benelux to obtain the aforesaid EN 1090 certificate. Veldeman is thereby accredited to manufacture aluminium and steel structures for tents, halls and membrane structures up to the Execution Class EXC2, and the company is also permitted to provide valid and legally obligatory CE labels for the same.

Veldeman has successfully implemented the factory production control system FPC 2+. The FPC covers a whole range of production-specific aspects, such as the production specifications, the skills and authorisation levels of the employees, the inspection of tools, and the calibration of measurement systems. This certificate confirms Veldeman as a reliable, high quality supplier, with fully controlled processes and procedures.
