Aircraft Maintenance and Overhaul

TIMCO Aviation Services (“TIMCO”) announced today that it has started a second line of scheduled maintenance work on B737 “Next Generation” aircraft at its Greensboro, North Carolina airframe maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) facility.  The work, consisting primarily of all phases of ‘C’ check maintenance visits, is being performed on B737-700, -800 and -900 aircraft and joins many other narrow- and widebody fleets that are regularly maintained in nose-to-tail “lines of work” at TIMCO’s three MRO facilities.  

The B737NG is not new to TIMCO as it has been performing repair and modification work on this type of aircraft at its Macon, Georgia facility since 2007, winglet installation modifications at its Greensboro, North Carolina facility since 2005, airframe maintenance work at its Lake City, Florida facility since 2008 and line maintenance support at 21 TIMCO LineCare locations across the U.S. 

 “As larger numbers of the newest family of B737 aircraft are coming up for scheduled maintenance, we have anticipated increased visits of the type at our facilities,” said Mike Anderson, General Manager for TIMCO’s Greensboro operations.  “It’s always exciting to bring a new aircraft into our regular flow of work, and our team is motivated to become an industry leader in quality and short turn times on the fleet.”
