Company CTI Systems
Date 30.01.2012

In January 2012 Asiana Airlines, based at Incheon Intl. Airport in Seoul received a new generation CTI-Move (Maxi75) manufactured by CTI Systems S.A., Luxembourg, herewith enhancing their total number of CTI-Moves in service with success to seven (7) units.

CTI Systems implemented business and service on this multi-mobile carrier system in 2007 from the preceding Swedish manufacturer. Since then, substantial technical developments have been performed to exceed present standards.

This new order was placed just after CTI successfully performed upgrade of Asiana’s existing Mega114 type in 2011, which was delivered together with further five (5) systems of Maxi 58/Mega 144 scissor types from 2002 to 2004. All these CTI-Moves are applied for aircraft maintenance access.

Omni-directional carriers provide unique advantages especially for access underneath the aircraft such as inside the landing gear wheel well etc.. They can be maneuvered in most cramped locations (even rotation around centre – ZERO-turn – is possible) due to a special designed tilted wheel.
