Colas Airfields Projects & Maintenance Division has extensive experience in the repair of civil and military airfield pavements using a range of different systems and products for both concrete and asphalt pavements.

Epoxy Repairs
Suitable for all areas of concrete in need of repair including spalled joints, corner repairs and surface deformation, epoxy repairs offer fast and effective installation, with cure times as low as one hour, minimising disruption to airfield traffic and operations. Repairs are carried out by our own trained operatives.

Cementitous Repairs
This is the traditional method of repair, used at locations when time and disruption is not an issue. Often carried out on airfield roads where there is room to divert vehicles around repair areas. Full depth replacement bays to aprons and taxiways use Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC)

Bituminous Repairs
Emergency and temporary repairs may be undertaken using Bitucrete deferred set material (a Colas product).
Permanent repairs, using various types of bituminous materials, can be carried out by our own trained operatives.
Planing equipment, for the removal of existing failed surfaces, and machine laying equipment are both available for repairs to larger areas.
