vosla GmbH received from the German Design Council the German Design Award 2016 in the category "Lighting". The jury awarded vosla GmbH for the outstanding design quality of the vosLED, the LED light bulb with filament. The statement of the jury:
"The vosLED is a gift for lovers of classic lamps, as it offers the warm light, appearance, all-round lighting, feel, dimensions and weight of a conventional light bulb. And yet it offers every benefit of LED technology: 90 % lower energy consumption, ten times the life span and easy recycling. A lovely idea that gives classic lamps a future."
