atg airports exhibited at the recent InterAirport India exhibition in Mumbai where the team supported our increasing presence in Indian aviation industry.

The exhibition attracted leading figures from the AAI as well as representation from many national airports, many of whom were interested to see how atg airports could support the continuing modernisation of one of the world's fastest growing aviation industries. atg's SmartControl system and CCR's, already operational across the world and recently installed at Raja Sansi International Airport, Amritsar, proved to be a big draw for many visitors, including Mr V.P Agrawal, Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (see below).

The modular nature of SmartControl, coupled with the flexibility of the SmartSwitch and the use of a topological database means that modifications can be carried out easily and safely by airport engineers restricting the requirement for costly software changes.

atg airports also displayed the latest LED lighting solution for airfields, the PEARL medium intensity lighting system. Designed to provide an off-the-shelf, low cost and compact LED lighting solution, the eco friendly PEARL system features impressive LED's offering high efficiency illumination and lasting 60,000 hours with a visual range of up to 1 minute before touchdown. Requiring practically no assembly, this flexible system can be supplied in a re-usable container and can be tailored to individual runways, providing pilots with safe and reliable guidance during approach and landing.
