Airport & Airline Security Seals, Catering Cart Seals, Tamper Evident Security Seals

Security is a key component of airport and airline operations. Security seals play an important role in airline security. Security seals are used for a wide range of airport security functions such as protecting air freight, food and beverage carts, cargo transportation and on-board supplies from theft and tampering. The selection and use of the right security seals for each task is important. 

Food and Beverage Carts 
The CSS Medium Duty Pull Tight Security Seal is designed specifically to detect and deter theft or contamination by providing enhanced tamper evident protection. A seal with a specific number is documented and placed on a food and beverage cart when it leaves catering. This number is checked when it arrives on the plane to assure it hasn’t been compromised. These seals can be customized with choice of color, airline logos and variable numbers. And have an optional tear-away feature making it easy to apply and remove by hand.

Duty Free 
Both Plastic Indicative Security Seals and Cable Security Seals are used on airline duty free trolley carts. The cart is loaded and a one-time use security seal with a variable number is placed through the closure. The seal is checked for tampering and then broken when items are to be sold. When sales are completed, another security seal is placed on the cart to keep track of inventory.  

Sealing Compartments or Doors without Locks – Using Tamper-evident security tape and labels on the doors and other openings after a plane has been serviced is a way to assure the airline that nothing has been placed on board while in the hanger. If an unauthorized person removes the tape, the tape reveals a hidden message allowing it to be identified that tampering has taken place. CSS tapes and labels come in sizes and styles.  

Cargo Plastic Truck Seals are popular security options when tansporting cargo within the airport.Life Vests  Security seals are used to assure tamper-evidence on life vests. Staff can check the seal on each life vest compartment for tampering.
