Portec uses a “loose-belt” technology that greatly increases the life expectancy of the conveyor belts and end roll components. The design runs quietly – independently certified to meet or exceed required noise level criteria. Belt tension and continual adjustments are not required when environmental conditions change, unlike temperamental friction belt conveyors. Portec conveyors will work in the cold or heat and humidity without fail.
