‘Bag Factory’: 09:35-10:00 hrs Wednesday, November 13
Using the recent installation at Hamad International Airport as a case study, this presentation will explain how the baggage handling process can be streamlined by using advanced handling techniques from the automotive industry to provide the flexibility to meet the high peak demands experienced by major transfer hubs.

‘Baggage Workshop’: 10.45-12.15 hrs Wednesday, November 13
This presentation will consider the approach taken to the integration of the baggage handling system at Hamad International Airport, which includes hybrid RFID and barcode scanning to achieve optimal read rates.
