Crisplant – part of BEUMER Group and a leading global supplier of automated baggage handling systems – will outline its state-of-the-art solutions for complete automated baggage handling on Stand No. B20 at Inter Airport India, 8-10 March, Mumbai, India.

An on-stand video will demonstrate Crisplant’s fully-integrated baggage handling system at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport’s International Terminal. This features the industry’s most energy-efficient sorter, with the CrisBag® high-speed transport system and energy efficient LS-4000 tilt-tray sorter, integrated RFID scanning and leading-edge Sort Allocation Computer (SAC) control system.

Other Crisplant innovations extend automated baggage handling with RampMate®, the first system for automated baggage handling between the terminal and the aircraft ramp, as well as new hybrid RFID/barcode scanning technologies.

Mr. Nitin Vyas, Director, BEUMER Technology India, will be participating in a Panel Discussion on environmental sustainability and airport security on 9 March, at Inter Airport India. The discussion will draw on Crisplant’s contribution to developing innovative energy-efficient technologies which help airports to meet new targets for reducing carbon dioxide emissions and increasing security.

Crisplant has extensive experience of supplying or sub-contracting baggage handling systems and solutions. Crisplant has supplied the baggage sorter system in Delhi Airport’s Terminal 3 which were the first automated baggage sorters to be used in India, and will also soon install the baggage sorter system for Mumbai Airport’s Terminal 2.

As part of the BEUMER Group, Crisplant delivers complete baggage handling solutions which combine advanced technologies in high-speed sorting, tracking, scanning, transport and control systems. Complete baggage handling systems are manufactured in-house in the BEUMER Group’s own factories to provide absolute control over build quality.

Klaus Schäfer, Crisplant Managing Director, comments; “Crisplant has continually helped the airport industry to set new benchmarks for higher operational and environmental efficiency and reduced operational costs, through the development and implementation of new baggage handling technologies.
